I have been working in local government for ​almost a decade in a variety of roles and departments. I started out in the Library service before moving in to Adult Social Care and Health - a bit of an adjustment to say the least!

​I am a huge proponent of PMO's, and have been fortunate enough to work within and develop the largest (and best, in my completely unbiased view) PMO at Kent County Council. 

​

Second to my passion for PMO's is my love of teaching people. Whether it's 'intro to project management 101', or the finesse behind stakeholder management, I can - and quite often do - spend hours exploring topics and then bringing that knowledge back to the team. ​

I am dedicated to making a difference in the public sector, and I truly believe that utilising project management and PMO methodologies will increase the likelihood of delivering the change we desperately need. I have developed my career in project and portfolio management supporting local authorities in IT as well as Adult Social Care. I often find myself in the strategic arena influencing Senior Managers and advocating evidence-based decision making to deliver our strategic objectives.

I've honed my skills and built up a wealth of knowledge and experience over the years and I have held many positions in that time such as Project Support Officer, Project Manager, PMO Analyst, PMO Lead, PMO Manager and more.
